Use this page for calculator corrections, guide feedback, missing-tool requests, accessibility problems, and privacy questions. A useful message gives us enough detail to reproduce the issue or understand the request without guessing.

Use a clear subject such as Concrete calculator error, Guide correction, Calculator request, or Privacy request. Please send one main issue per message where possible. That makes it easier to test a calculation, check a source, or route a privacy question correctly.
Reporting a calculator problem
If a result looks wrong, include:
- The full calculator URL and tool name
- Whether you selected US or UK units
- Every input exactly as entered, including waste, price, coverage, and depth
- The result displayed on the page
- What you expected and how you calculated that expectation
- Your browser and device if the Calculate button, unit switch, or layout failed
- A screenshot if it shows the problem clearly, with personal details removed
Small details matter. “Concrete result is wrong” is difficult to test; “10 ft × 10 ft × 4 in in US mode returned X yd³, but I expected Y” gives us a repeatable case. Do not send payment details, account passwords, contractor bank information, or documents containing information we do not need.
We check formula defects separately from differences in supplier practice. A gravel yard may use a different density, a paint tin may state lower coverage, and a flooring brand may package an unusual area per box. If the arithmetic is correct but the default does not fit your product, send the label value or public product sheet. We may update the site-wide assumption, add a note, or explain why the field should be overridden.
Guide corrections and editorial feedback
For a guide correction, link the article and quote the sentence or section. If your correction depends on a building code, manufacturer instruction, or supplier specification, include a public source and the region it applies to. US and UK practices are not always interchangeable, and local rules can differ within each country.
We welcome spelling fixes, broken-link reports, unclear worked examples, and suggestions for information a homeowner genuinely needs before ordering. We do not accept paid guest posts, pre-written promotional articles, undisclosed affiliate placements, or requests to insert unrelated links.
Response expectations
We aim to read clear, actionable messages promptly, but this is not an emergency or live trade-advice service. Complex reports may take longer because we reproduce the inputs, inspect both unit systems, and check related examples before changing public copy. We may not reply individually to vague solicitations, bulk marketing mail, repeated messages, or requests already answered on the site.
Do not delay urgent safety work while waiting for us. Gas leaks, electrical hazards, structural movement, active flooding, and unsafe roofs need the relevant emergency service or qualified local professional. We cannot approve designs, interpret a site-specific code requirement, or validate a contractor’s work from an email.
Privacy and data requests
Put Privacy request in the subject. Explain whether you want access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you previously sent us, and identify the email address used. Calculator inputs normally stay in your browser, so there may be no server-side calculation record to provide. We may need limited information to verify that a request relates to you, but we will not ask for more than is reasonably necessary.
Contact messages contain whatever you choose to send and are handled through email. Keep attachments relevant and remove addresses, phone numbers, signatures, and project documents that are not needed. For more detail, read the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Calculator ideas
If the tool does not exist yet, use the Suggest a Calculator page before emailing. Include the job, measurable inputs, expected output, and whether both US and UK units are needed. A clear request is much easier to assess than “please add more calculators.”
Sending a message does not create a professional-client relationship, a guaranteed response time, or approval to begin work. Calculator results remain planning estimates; confirm final quantities, prices, and specifications with the supplier or qualified trade responsible for the job.
